Hey Crafty Friends today I wanted to share with you some of the watercolour tips / hacks i’ve picked up on my card making journey. Now before we jump in I feel I need to make one thing very clear . . . I am NOT a watercolour expert, if you are then these tips will most likely be obvious to you.
For the samples I’ll be using Arteza woodless watercolour pencils and watercolour card. These two products were sent to me by Arteza but all opinions are my own and the techniques are things i’ve learnt over the years.
I have 10+ tips to share and a sample of each, you can watch by clicking on the link below or clicking here.
- Using the right paper and ink
- Adding texture
- Heat embossing
- Tilt your image
- Don’t work two sections side by side
- Watercolour with stamps
- Stamping to clean up loose watercolour
- Creating mist
- Portable pallet
- white out / black out
Which one is your favourite and did I miss a tip you would like to share?
If you are interested in any of the products used today do check out the links, Where I have two links one is to shop in US and one in UK.
