Today I wanted to share a little more than just ten cards made from the August Love From Lizi card kit. I wanted to share a bit of background to my method of working with a card kit and how I can ensure I make at least ten cards with the supplies in the kit.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again the Love From Lizi kits are particularly jam packed with card making goodness, that coupled with the add ons I bought this month made it really easy for me to pull together ten cards. The first thing I do when I get any kit is go ahead and cut any embellishments that come on a sheet, like the vellum tiles in this kit and then I cut and score my card bases. After that I try to match up pieces of the patterned paper that jumps out as favourites with a card base.
From there I take a look at the embellishments and stamp sets to try to decide what to pair up and before i know it i have ten piles of products to use and the cards start to come together.
I see this process and the cards being made you can check out my YouTube video by clicking on the thumbnail below or clicking here if you are reading via email.
