Hello crafters, I wanted to share something a little different with you today. I decided to take the Love From Lizi magpie and floral travel packs on the road for a real road test.

I had a pretty long car journey and I thought what better way to entertain myself than with some card making. The travel packs contain everything you need to make at least 6 cards including scissors, tape, foam adhesive and embellishments.

I couldn’t just leave it at that so I did add a couple of sentiment stamp sets, some glue dots for the buttons, a circle cutter and corner rounder. I also took my misti to make sure my stamping would be perfect despite being in the car and my stamp shammy for easy clean up.

I packed all my bits and bobs into a clear plastic storage box and I used the glove compartment as a shelf for extra room. I had so much fun making cards in the car this way and I have to say I’d give the travel packs a solid 9.5 out of 10. They lost that half a point because I found the adhesive a little glitchy but I had extra so it all worked out. Top tip remember to bring a rubbish bag for scraps so you don’t make too much of a mess in your car!

Here are the cards I made, 6 from each pack and a bonus from the magpie set. I also have a TON of paper and embellishments left over so I could easily make another 12 cards with the addition of from card bases.
