For Day three I was inspired by some cards Debby Hughes made over on her YouTube channel and blog, you can click on her name to check them out. Debby used ink blending and masking to create some colourful sections to stamp in. I decided to do something similar using the Lawn Fawn Milk and Cookies stamp set for a Christmas card.
- I used post it tape to mask off three sections within the card and added die cut masks before blending a different colour ink into each section.
- Once the ink is applied I removed the masks and stamped the corresponding images into each space.
- After that I added the sentiment on the inside and outside of the card and rounded all of the corners before mounting the front panel onto the card base using fun foam and double sided tape.
- To finish the card I added two stamps to the envelope, a cookie on the back and the cookie jar on the front.
